Fazayah West Dhofar

Start the day with drive through lush green plantations of vegetables & fruits. Make a brief stop to taste fresh coconut water drink at fruit stalls lining the streets within the periphery of the old Salalah town (Haffah).

After the refreshing stop we driver toward beaches of Mughsayl and the blowholes overlooking Marneef cave. The blowholes are also referred as Mughsayl Natural Fountains by the tourists. The water jet from the blowholes vary according to the season, but can get as high as 28m in the sky in Khareef season. This is a unique trek in the Middle East where you start your walk from beach and go up to a cave and end up at blowholes.

There are couple of view points for the Secret Beach before Fazayah. These view points have barriers at the edge, so that the car cannot be taken any further to prevent fall off from the cliff.

Secret Beach

A drive along the “Hair-pin-bend” road (Zigzag Road) with its breathtaking cliffs on either side takes you to one of the most attractive Beaches in Dhofar, The Fazayah Beach. On the way along you can see the historical Frankincense & baobab trees growing in their natural habitat, deep down in the valleys, dotting the dry & craggy countryside. We take a short walk into the valleys to smell the Holy Incense amidst the scenic view of the region

Zigzag Road

Experiencing the beach environment is the wonderful experience in everyone‘s life. Beaches are the spots to just warm up your minds. Here the Fazayah Beach will add an unforgettable memory to your Oman tour. There is golden sand at the beach and it gives a more beautiful look to the beach with the pristine turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The Beach is bordered with wonderful landscape of Mountain cliffs together with typical desert fauna. Return to the Hotel by evening.
